Yamaha YCP10 Compact Stencil Printer

The YCP10 can handle PCBs from 50 × 50 mm up to 510 × 460 mm, allowing for both small boards and fairly large ones.

Standard compatible stencil frames include 750 × 750 mm, 736 × 736 mm, 750 × 650 mm, 650 × 550 mm. Optional frame sizes such as 600 × 550 mm, 550 × 650 mm, 584 × 584 mm are also supported.

Position repeatability is ±0.010 mm (6σ), and printing accuracy is approximately ±0.025 mm, enabling fine-pitch and high-quality stencil printing.

The YCP10 achieves a cycle (tact) time of about 8 seconds under optimal conditions (excluding actual printing time) when setup and board transfer are efficient.

It uses Yamaha’s “3S head” (Swing Single Squeegee) which allows adjustable angle settings (45° to 65° in 1-degree increments) and optimised squeegee speed and pressure to improve paste filling and print quality, especially for different solder pastes and stencil types.

It features a vacuum stencil clamping/suction mechanism that holds the stencil firmly to avoid droop, ensuring stable accuracy and reducing offset or misalignment errors in back-and-forth stencil movements.

Options include: 2D paste inspection camera, “solder remaining check” (monitoring paste supply), print inspection unit, setup verification, automatic program changeover, and bad-mark transfer to mounters for minimising line rejects.

The YCP10 operates on single-phase AC 200-230V ±20V, 50/60 Hz power. It requires clean, dry air at ≥0.45 MPa. Its external dimensions are about 1,130 × 1,760 × 1,370 mm, and it weighs approximately 1,100 kg.
