The SR-2000 supports a maximum stencil frame size of 570 × 470 mm, with the maximum usable print area being 500 × 400 mm.
Boards are positioned with magnetic PCB supports (for boards with location holes) or by using a flat Forex fibre plate for taping. Alignment is manual via three knobs (X, Y, and Theta) for precise adjustment.
It can reliably print components with a minimum pin pitch of around 0.8 mm under careful operation using its manual alignment knobs and proper stencil tension.
It supports boards within the 500 × 400 mm print area. It also supports double-sided printing with the appropriate board supports and magnetic fixtures.
The SR-2000 includes a rigid hinged stencil frame holder, a stencil tensioning frame (ES-4050), and adjustable work table. These provide stability and repeatability in manual printing operations.
Stencil changeover and tensioning are relatively quick. The frame ES-4050 allows easy loading, unloading, and tensioning; the design is bench-top to facilitate operator access. Exact time depends on operator skill.
The machine dimensions are approximately 520 × 660 × 140 mm, with a net weight about 14-16 kg. It’s bench-top and entry-level, so it can be transported and fits on standard work tables.
Pros: lower cost, simpler maintenance, lower footprint, intuitive operation. Cons: slower throughput, more operator dependency for alignment and consistency, and potentially more variation unless setup is well-controlled.
