Ideal for operators with varying measuring requirements, the Swift PRO Duo is a versatile and exceptionally intuitive all-in-one optical and video measuring system.
Key Features and Benefits
Want to increase speed, productivity and accuracy?
The Swift Pro Duo combines the power of both optical and video measurement in one compact system.
Applications
With a rich suite of measurement and reporting features, the Swift Pro Duo is ideal for a broad range of applications including:
– Automotive
– Aerospace
– Printing
– Medical devices
– Packaging
– Plastics
– General precision engineering
Video Measurement
Video measurement is ideal for routine components where edges of features can easily be identified. The smart video measurement tools allow the operator to quickly detect and measure features faster and more accurately than ever before!
Optical Measurement
The Swift PRO Duo incorporates Vision’s patented Dynascope® eyepiece-less measuring microscope providing high contrast, microscope-resolution images.
Complex or difficult-to-view features can be viewed in intricate detail, ensuring you can take accurate measurements of all components.
When measuring features without clear edges, a video camera may be unable to detect the edges due to a lack of contrast. This is where optical measurement is beneficial. The crisp high-resolution image from the optical head enables you to accurately select features to measure. Including clear or black plastics and surface features on metal parts (where there is no contrast between the feature and the background).
Switching from video measurement to optical measurement is as quick and simple as a touch of a button.
Increase Operator Performance and Productivity with Dynascope® technology
Designed with an ergonomic body position, the Swift Pro Duo offers ease of use, comfort and significantly reduces user fatigue and eyestrain.
The Dynascope® technology allows operators to take accurate measurements whilst wearing prescriptive glasses, safety goggles and contact lenses.
Businesses choose the Swift Pro Duo because they know their operators are more efficient, more accurate and more productive.
Measuring Stage Calibration with NLEC
Swift PRO Duo features Vision Engineering’s proven 200mm x 100mm precision measuring stage.
Utilising the most accurate correction method available, non-linear error correction (NLEC) uses a software algorithm to calculate and correct any errors across the measuring stage. All measuring stages are factory-set with NLEC calibration prior to installation.

The Swift PRO Duo comes with a precision measuring stage sized 200 mm × 100 mm (also available in a 150 × 100 mm option). It can handle parts up to 10 kg maximum load.
Magnification is via quick-change objectives:
The system lets you switch between video measurement (useful for routine parts with clear, contrasting edges) and optical measurement (useful for features without contrast, like clear plastics, shiny metals, or subtle surface features). You simply press a button to swap modes. This gives greater flexibility depending on part type and inspection challenge.
Yes. There is a 3-axis variant which adds a Z-axis with approximately 98 mm travel. This allows height/profile measurement, in addition to the flat (X-Y) measurements.
The Swift PRO Duo offers both surface illumination and substage illumination. Features include:
The outer dimensions are approximately:
It is relatively compact compared to large, automated measuring machines.
