The LVC 200 Measuring System from Vision Engineering Ltd is part of the LVC series offering 3-axis CNC measurement capability.
The LVC 200 is designed with aluminium so is lighter than the LVC 400 which is designed with a granite base. Similar to the LVC 400, the 200 has different configuraions with a different FOV and lighting options including:
Both the 200 and 400 are design with a encoder resolution of 0.1 μm.
For applications such as measuring turned parts, utilise configurations with colliminated back light – models LVB009 and LVB010. (see brochure)
For applications such as measuring flat and square-edged parts, utilise models LVB002 and LVB005. (see brochure).
LVC200 key features
• 200 x 150 x 200mm
• 5MP USB3 camera
• Easy to use M3 software
• Aluminium base
• 3D touch probe option
Faster Measurement with the LVC 200
Its stage offers large measuring capacity and fully automated movement on all 3 axes makes measurement faster.
Magnification changes can be built into programmes, for nonstop measurement routines.
Multiple components can be loaded onto the stage and measured easily and automatically in a single programme.
The system is pre-programmable or can be driven using the supplied joystick for quick, oneoff measurements.
Easy to Use
LVC200 is supplied with highly intuitive M3 software. This offers a rich suite of measurement functions, while maintaining the ease of use that Vision Engineering is known for.
M3’s key features include:
Highly Accurate
LVC200, with its granite base for extra stability and precision stage, is the most accurate large format measuring system to date from Vision Engineering.
LVC200 supports the use of a touch probe in all 3 axes, for measuring complex features and other 3D forms.

The LVC-200 offers a measurement envelope of 200 × 150 × 200 mm (X × Y × Z) allowing for medium-sized parts or batches of smaller components to be measured in a single programme.
Several programmable illumination options are available:
Yes. With the optional 3-axis touch probe, the system can measure 3D features and contours, not only surface edges. The machine also supports probe-changer racks allowing automatic switching between probes when needed.
