The PVA is a three to four axis robot flexible that is suitable for virtually any benchtop or laboratory selective coating and automated dispensing application.
The PVA350 features a robust overhead motion platform employing brushless DC servo motors and precision ball screw slides.
Encoder feedback on all axes assures a closed-loop process that is consistent and reliable. The PVA350 platform is enclosed for added protection during spray applications.

The PVA-350 handles a wide range of tasks including selective conformal coating, dam & fill, encapsulation / glob-top, gasketing & sealing, potting, surface mount adhesive / solder paste dispensing, thermal interface material, and underfill applications.
The system offers a work volume of ~365 × 378 × 101 mm (one valve/tool configuration), with repeatability of ±25 microns (0.001″) and a resolution of 0.005 mm (0.0002″).
It comes standard as a 3-axis benchtop robot, with an optional 4th axis for tilt & rotation. The tilt/rotation allows the nozzle or dispensing tool to approach at angles, useful for complex or angled surfaces.
It uses brushless DC servo motors with precision ball screw slides, and has optical encoder feedback on all axes for closed-loop control, ensuring consistent and reliable motion.
The system is programmed via PVA’s PathMaster® software, which supports offline programming and image import. It includes remote trackball or LCD panel teach features.
It supports input voltages at 120 V or 220 V (±10 %), 50-60 Hz. It requires dry, unlubricated air at about 80 PSI.
Yes — its compact benchtop design, enclosure for protection during spray/coating, and flexibility (valve options, 3- or 4-axis) make it well suited to labs, prototype work, and small runs. It balances precision and usability in smaller spaces.
While the PVA-350 gives high precision, flexibility, and lower footprint / lower cost, trade-offs include lower throughput (especially for very large boards or high volume), possible limitations on how many valves/tools can be used simultaneously (or total fluid volume), and need for operator setup. For large scale, continuous production, higher capacity systems may be more efficient. (Inferred from specs and positioning)
