Hawker Richardson is pleased to introduce the LVC400 Measuring System from Vision Engineering which can be configured with a myriad of options depending on what is being measured.
The LVC Measuring System is a measuring system that allows you to measure components and features, such as machined, turned, injection moulded parts within the field-of-view (FOV).Ā Utilising the larger stage configuration on the 400 provides the ability to measure multiple components / features in one sequence.
Twinned with the M3 measuring software, which provides a range of powerful digital measuring tools at your fingertips, the LVC package with its robust and precision engineered design and build is ideal for most manufacturing environments.
LVC400 Measuring System
The LVC400 System is designed with granite to maximise stability during measurement. Both systems incorporate encoder resolution of 0.1 μm.

Everything about the LVC is designed for fast measurement and the 400 offers a stage 400 x 300 x 200mm stage providing large measuring capacity and fully automated movement on all 3 axes making measurement faster and much more efficient.
Measuring Capacity
All 400 variants of the LVC400 (LVB002, LVB002, LVB010) can be configured with a touch probe, and you can choose from a variant encompassing either a 7-position motorised zoom or a 10-position motorised zoom depending on what you need to measure.
All the systems incorporate a colour USB3 camera and X, Y and Z FOV measures correlating with the zoom.Ā For example, the LVB010 provides X-10.6mm and Y-7.7mm at the first zoom stop and reduces to X-2.8mm and Y-1.8mm at the maximum zoom stop (7), with 3.3mm at the diagonal.
Illumination Options
As standard the LVC400 variants are designed with a Quadrant LED Ring Light providing maximum control and flexibility around illumination your component parts and their features to obtain the best measurement accuracy.Ā Alternatively, the LVB010 offers Collimated LED sub-stage light with aperture control which is ideal for measuring turned parts.
Intuitive Software
What makes the LVC400 series stand out, ensuring all engineers can virtually plug and play is the M3 software.Ā Once youāve captured your parts, you can utilise the software to measure a variety of components using different options whether its thread measurement, a digital overlay, or a Point Cloud, the software makes the LVC series a system that can be utilised interdepartmentally within your organisation with its ease of use and flexibility, helping to ensure you see a ROI quickly.

The LVC200 Option
If you donāt need quite as much capability as the 400 but are still looking for quick measurement, consider the LVC200.Ā This system is a lighter option at 180kg compared to 350kg of the 400 and designed with aluminium and a smaller stage (200mm x 150mm x 200mm).
