The SM902professional places about 500ā800 SMDs per hour, depending on component size, operator speed, and board complexity.
It supports very small components starting from 0201, up to larger parts of 40 Ć 40 mm.
Max PCB size is 390 Ć 310 mm, with the maximum placement area of 375 Ć 235 mm.
The motor-driven āeyeā (vision / alignment system) delivers positioning accuracy of approximately 0.1 mm.
It supports PCB thicknesses from around 0.5 mm up to ~4.0 mm.
Features like motor-driven feeders with LEDs, automatic dispensing for glue or solder paste, the āeyeā automatically moving to the next placement position, and CAD-import or teach-in options all reduce setup time and operator fatigue.
The unit measures about 700 Ć 680 Ć 340 mm (W Ć D Ć H). This compact size makes it suitable for benchtop use or space-limited workstations.
It is ideal for prototyping, small to medium batches, or environments where flexibility, cost, and operator control matter more than ultra-high speed. Limitations include that throughput is much lower than automatic pick-and-place machines, and operator skill still affects consistency and speed.
