The OPTA is offered with either a 4× objective (working distance 96 mm) or a 6× objective (working distance 73 mm).
It uses 20 LEDs, with a brightness of approximately 9,400 Lux at ~7,000 K colour temperature.
There are three stand/kit options: Crescent Stand, Square Base (table-stand), and Universal Arm.
Yes — the design emphasises ergonomics: the “eyepiece-less” head provides a glasses-free 3D stereo view, improved hand-eye coordination, and reduced operator fatigue.
It’s ideal for electronics inspection/rework, plastics & rubber inspection, dental labs, education/training, precision engineering tasks and other uses where a stereo view with good working distance is needed.
While the main specification sheet doesn’t explicitly list a trinocular port, the product is marketed with an optics head and various stand kits and accessories — you should contact the supplier (Hawker & Richardson) to confirm camera-compatibility or available adapter options.
