The SX45 Elite has a zoom ratio of 6.25:1. Its standard magnification range is 8×–50×, with the lowest/highest possible magnification being 4× up to 200×, depending on eyepieces and auxiliary objectives used.
The SX45 Elite offers a long working distance of up to 220mm. This extra space under the lens gives room to manipulate parts, solder, inspect complex assemblies, or use tools without collisions.
The SX45-TR Elite (trinocular version) includes an extra optical path so you can attach a camera for image capture, documentation, display and reporting. Various accessories and camera adapters are available.
The SX45 Elite supports both incident illumination (overhead / angled) for reflected light and sub-stage illumination (backlight / through stage) for transparent or semi-transparent materials. It also offers LED ring lights including quadrant or full ring versions, and white/UV lighting for enhanced contrast or UV-fluorescing features.
There are multiple stand possibilities: bench stands, boom stands, articulated arm stands, dual-arm or single-arm boom with base or clamp. These give flexibility in reach, height adjustment, sample access and user comfort.
The SX45 Elite is well suited for industrial inspection, rework, precision electronics, biological specimen inspection, quality control, moulding defect inspection, surface finishing evaluation, and any application where both fine detail and enough working space are needed. Its long working distance and good magnification make it ideal for users who need to manipulate components under the lens.
At very high magnification (~200×) the depth of field and field of view decrease significantly, making precise alignment and lighting more critical.
