Welcome to the third edition of the Hawker Richardson newsletter for 2023. We’ve had an exciting quarter, with new products being launched, and Hawker Richardson celebrating its 100th anniversary!
Off the back of ElectroneX in April, our service team has been busy commissioning SMT Lines in companies around Australia and New Zealand. As part of our commitment to our customers, we also provided IN-HOUSE TRAININGĀ sessions so that customers hit the ground running operating their new SMT equipment.
July saw the worldwide launch of the new 3rd generation Mantis microscope inspection equipment. Three innovative variations: Mantis PIXO, Mantis ERGO and Mantis IOTA, provide ergonomic inspection solutions for many applications and industries.
In August, Yamaha unveiled their new YRP10 Premium Stencil Printer which achieves the highest level of accuracy in the industry. As ultra-compact chip components and narrow-pitch electrodes are becoming more common, the YRP10 will be a valuable addition to every SMT Line.
It has been announced that Hawker Richardson will be the exclusive supplier of BTM Clinching products in Australia and New Zealand. Based in Michigan, BTM has been a leading global supplier of clinching tools and equipment since 1966, and we are proud to represent their products.
Lastly, Productronica. The world’s leading trade fair for electronics production technology returns in November. Our team will scour the exhibition halls for new trends and products from leading suppliers. We are also running an upcoming webinar about SMD Component Management for SMT production.
