Yamaha launches the new generation YR series solder paste printer. The YRP10 achieves the highest level of print accuracy in the industry, which is vital as ultra-compact chip components and narrow-pitch electrodes are becoming more common.
The stencil printing process is the most important stage of SMT assembly production as most PCB defects can be attributed to solder paste printing errors.
The YRP10 with a newly revised 3S (Swing Single Squeegee) head realizes further enhancement in printing quality with improved rolling performance, filling capabilities and reduced solder paste waste. The stencil vacuum mechanism keeps the PCB and stencil in close contact resulting in high-precision printing.
Additionally, automatic set-up changeovers, such as automatic pin push-ups, stencil replacements, solder transfers, and automatic solder supply, reduce labour requirements and human errors in line with long-term non-stop production and the Intelligent Factory System.
With the completely independent dual-lane capability, the YRP10 has the flexibility to support a wide range of PCB sizes increasing efficiency and responding to increasingly diverse products and production formats.
