Samsung CP Feeder Finger

The Feeder Finger is an accessory that attaches to Samsung CP feeders to allow “cut tape” or partial tape strips to be fed directly into the feeder without needing splicing or special leader/trailer tape. It reduces setup complexity and improves feeder changeover times.

It works with tape width 8 mm, tape depth (feeder type) 2.5 mm, paper carrier tape only. Typical components are sizes such as 0402 and 1206. Full reels and cut tape both work.

Setup is fast — using the supplied tape push-tool, you can feed the tape through and be ready to go in about 10 seconds.

It supports cut tape strips as short as three inches. That means very short cut strips can be run without causing issues or needing extra tape.

By eliminating tape splicing and minimising tape-related errors (like cover-tape jams), it can reduce feeder setup/changeover times by up to 40%.
