The crew at Hawker Richardson were fortunate enough to fly out to Singapore for a team bonding trip.
Besides getting some well-deserved RR., the crew also had the opportunity to visit one of their suppliers, Nutek, who is a supplier of PCB handling equipment for the PCBA industry. The purpose of the visit was to see the manufacturing facility and get acquainted with the Nutek staff. For those who never met previously but would correspond via email, it was a great opportunity to finally put a face to the name.
Hawker Richardson were welcomed by Lucas and Joshua, both Business Development Managers who kicked off the visit with a company presentation. Once the presentation came to a wrap, the crew got to have a factory tour where Lucas and Joshua gave the team an in-depth tour of the Nutek facility.
With over 500+ employees hard at work, the staff at Hawker Richardson got to see the Nutek employees producing the board handling equipment they would sell to customers in Australia and New Zealand. Amongst their tour, they were joined by CEO Yeo Liu Po, who further explained the manufacturing process of their products and upcoming projects comprising of:
+ Material Handling System for Semicon Industry
+ Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) for Capital Equipment Manufacturers
+ Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) for other brand names
The welcomed visit demonstrates the importance of maintaining a strong relationship between supplier and distributor. Hawker Richardson and Nutek’s end goal is delivering world-class quality board handling equipment to the PCBA industry in Australia and New Zealand.
