Redarc, a technology-based company with 40 years of experience in research, design and development manufacture electronic voltage converters, power supplies, inverters and battery charges for various industries including defence, automotive, medical, marine, mining, and industrial applications.
Nathan Ellis, manufacturing engineer at Redarc, explains the benefits of the Kolver torque controller in their manufacturing process.
āThe Kolver systems we use (mainly Kolver EDU2AE/TOP/E) provide us with a great deal of flexibility allowing us to build multiple products in the same work centre using the same equipment, only changing the active program on the Kolver controller. We mainly use these drivers to build our most complex products that have many kinds of fasteners at many torques.Ā
From our experience, they maintain high reliability and if used within the manufacturer’s recommended speeds and torques are true to the 10% torque accuracy.
Overall, we are very happy with them and at the price point provide very good value. Hawker Richardsonās service and support is always great as we get to see them here in person and ask them questions.ā

The EDU2AE series torque controllers from Kolver, a leader in screwdriving technology, give you all the advantages of precision torque-controlled electric tools at a fraction of the price of transducerised tools.
Hawker Richardson proudly supplies Kolver screwdriving equipment in Australasia. To learn more about the Kolver range, speak with our experienced team today.
