Smart screw-driving technology for Industry 4.0 capability
Kolver has expanded its K-Ducer range with the introduction of its KDS-NT screwdriver, which is part of its class A intelligent transducerised assembly system. The system consists of an advanced state-of-the-art KDU-NT controller and a range of handheld and fixtured electric screwdrivers with ultra-low torque from .05 to 0.7 Nm.
The KDS-NT screwdrivers are micro in size and excellent for precision PCB work demanding low torque and control over turns and angle-tightening for delicate screw-driving operations. Featuring a full metal design, status LED, and temperature protection combined with full traceability and error-proofing capabilities. Data can be retrieved for quality audits and process control which is important for Defence industries.
The KDU-NT power unit and controller give full control of fastening operations in an industry-leading compact size. With easy set-up and operation, an intuitive programming interface, and all software included the unit provides unmatched performance and value.
