The award winning Mantis stereo inspection system is a popular solution for inspecting instrumentation because it delivers optical excellence and ergonomic design which enhances productivity.
✔ Universal mount enables technicians to rotate the Mantis head to the side
✔ Inspect complex shapes, deep grooves and cannula recesses that could harbour debris and tissue
✔ Patented eyepieceless technology means users can wear eyewear and it can be used in a laminar flow cabinet
✔ Ergonomics eliminates operator fatigue and eyestrain
The Mantis is designed to be modular so the unique eyepieceless viewing head can be utilised on a number of stand options including the Universal Stand. The Universal Stand can be clamped to your work bench, so it can pivot to the left or right by 90 degrees ensuring the working environment can still be optimised when the system isn’t in use.
Ideal for CSSD, the Mantis Elite utilises an interchangeable turret with two objective lenses so users can switch from one magnification to another. This increases productivity where initial inspection can be utilised with a lower magnification offering detailed inspection but with a greater field-of-view. Any problem areas can then be quickly switched using 15x or 20x magnification for a more detailed observation.
Designed with superior ergonomics, the Mantis family is configured with an eyepieceless head which allows users to work comfortably for longer. Unlike traditional micrscopes, the Mantis head means users look straight ahead rather than hunched over narrow eyepeieces. As well as being much more comfortable, it also means users can continue to wear their usual eyewear such as prescription or safety glasses.
Using a Mantis for inspecting medical devices and dental implants is an excellent way to ensure subjects are aligned to specifications i.e. sterilisation of surgical instrumentation, colour matching, passivity of fit for crowns and bridges
