IMO ECO 1000 PCB Cleaning Machine

The ECO 1000 is designed to remove rosin-based fluxes, no-clean / low-residue fluxes, and water-soluble fluxes (neutral or alkaline agents). It also removes handling residues and resin, making it suitable for assemblies that will be coated later.

It can process PCBs up to 490 × 250 mm, and it can clean up to 96 Eurocard-sized cards (height 10 mm) per batch.

The cleaning is done in three steps:

• Spray cleaning with an alkaline cleaner;
• Several intense rinses with deionised water;
• Drying using hot air.

Yes — users can program the number, duration, and temperature of the cleaning and rinsing steps. There’s also a network interface to view cleaning programs.

The ECO 1000 includes a demineralisation cartridge and conductivity monitoring to ensure the final rinse water is sufficiently pure. This helps ensure flux and cleaner residues are actually removed.

• Power: designed for 230 V, 60 Hz input.

Each full cleaning cycle (clean + rinse + dry) is approximately 1 hour, and the drying phase is also about 1 hour. These can vary depending on how many boards are loaded and the settings.

The machine can store and retrieve the last 20 cleaning logs, and cleaning programs / used cleaning agents are viewable over the network interface. This aids in traceability and process quality control.
