Cab PCB Off-Cut Remover Hektor 2

The Hektor 2 is designed for removing off-cuts from milled or routed PCBs. You place the PCB over the appropriate blade, aligned with its milled groove, and a pneumatic punch removes the off-cut cleanly. It’s aimed at boards with pre-routed grooves or tabs.

It supports PCBs up to 2.5 mm thick.

• The operating pressure is typically around 4 bar.
• It uses a ¼-inch plug-in coupler for the compressed-air supply.

  This makes it relatively compact and portable for bench-use or near line deployment.

• Removal uses a punch (blade) actuated via a foot switch.
• The operator feeds the PCB into a two-part matrix which supports correct alignment; turn or reorientation is generally not needed when using certain blade types (T-blades).
• Safety features include guards, proper alignment guide, and manual covers over the cutting zone.

• There are different blade geometries: T-blades (for off-cuts on both sides without turning the PCB) and L-blades (for narrow tab spacing) depending on board design.
• Blade thickness options correspond to groove width; the milled groove must be slightly wider (≈ 0.15 mm more) than the blade to avoid jamming.

• Operating temperature range: about +5 °C to +40 °C, humidity 10-85% non-condensing.
• Storage / transport temperatures are wider (-25 °C to +60 °C) with similar humidity constraints.

• The groove must be properly milled and aligned; incorrect groove width or misalignment can lead to damage or poor cut.
• It only removes off-cuts; does not depanel entire boards or handle non-routed separations.
• The working pressure must be appropriate; over-pressurising can damage boards or blade.
• Requires routine maintenance of blade sharpness, and matrices alignment for consistent quality and operator safety.
